Readouts

NexusGEO

The Geosense  NexusGEO® is a Bluetooth Interface which can be used to connect a wide range of sensors with analogue or RS-485 digital outputs to an Android smart device for manual readout. This means data can easily be accessed on site by any Android device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Specially-developed by Geosense, it is designed to offer interoperability between sensors and the chosen Android device. This enables the user to benefit from the increased processing capability and connectivity of a smart device over a standard readout.

The user can simply read and store data or read, store and transmit it via a mobile network.

The NexusGEO App makes it possible to download raw data or acquire calibration factors from the sensor which can then be used to convert the data into engineering units. All data can then be downloaded as a CSV file either locally onto the Android device or synchronised to a central database.

Colour-coded connections for the different analogue sensor types plus a simple digital connector makes the NexusGEO easy to use. It comes complete with battery charger and colour coded ‘jumper cables’ complete with crocodile clips.

The NexusGEO® can be used on any Android device, such as the affordable rugged CAT S41 which is available from Geosense.

VW Readout VWR1

The Geosense®  VWR1 is a compact manual readout unit which can be used with all types of vibrating wire sensors.

Colour coded connections make the VWR1 easy to use with any type of sensor cable.

The simple display means that you do not have complicated multiple screen menus and can be operated with just two simple buttons.

The VWR1 comes with a rugged lightweight carry case complete with battery charger and colour coded “jumper cables” complete with crocodile clip.

Multi-Purpose MP12

The Geosense® MP12 is a multi-purpose manual readout unit which can be used with all types of electrical outputs including vibrating wire.

Colour coded connections for the different sensor types makes the MP12 easy to use with any type of sensor cable.

The simple display means that you do not have complicated multiple screen menus and can be operated with just six simple buttons.

The MP12 comes with a rugged lightweight carry case complete with battery charger and colour coded “jumper cables” complete with crocodile clip.

VW Analyser

The VW Analyser is field-ready to measure quickly any vibrating wire sensor, save the data, and communicate results.

Measurements are geo-located with the integrated GPS, allowing the VW Analyser to verify locations and direct you to your sensors.

A large colour display and easy-to-use menus let you see and understand how the sensor is working, troubleshoot sensor installation in the field, and get real-time results of system performance. It also creates custom PDF reports and spreadsheets that can be quickly transferred with a USB connection.

The analyser can measure all vibrating wire sensors including strain gauges, piezometers, pressure transducers, tilt meters, crack meters, and load cells.

Smart Mux Interface (SMI)

Sensor channels can be easily viewed and selected via the SmartMux Interface which replaces time-consuming rotary switches and readout.

Housed in a handy portable case, it reads directly digital sensors and when connected to the SmartMux modular multiplexer, it can read any sensor with VW, V, mV/V, 4-20mA, Pt100, NTC and RS485 outputs.

With an easy-view LCD menu, sensor readings can be viewed sequentially simply by scrolling through the menu. Data is also stored.

Manual Pendulum Readout

The Geosense® MPR-2000 is a readout device specifically designed to measure manually relative movements of normal and inverted pendulums.

The readout is placed onto a mounting bracket in a suitable location and measurements are taken by aligning the sight, the wire and the wire reflection and noting the position on the Vernier scale. Changes in this position can then be related to movement of the pendulum.

Manufactured from high grade stainless steel it is robust and maintenance-free.

Automatic Pendulum Readout TP-2000

The Geosense TP-2000 Series is a readout device specifically designed to automatically measure and record relative movements of normal and inverted pendulums. It is housed in a robust waterproof housing and is simple to install using a special mounting plate.

It can be installed as part of a complete new system or be retro-fitted as part of an upgrade to an existing manual system.

Measurements are obtained using highly sensitive and accurate CCD technology which converts the data with temperature correction into either an analogue or digital signal which can be transmitted to a remote data logger. Data can also be stored and read locally with an additional LED display.

The Geosense TP-2000 Series is available in three models:

Model                      Range

TP-2D-2001            50 x 50mm

TP-2D-2002            50 x 100mm

TP-3D-2003            50 x 100 x 50mm

Digital Depth Gauge

A digital depth gauge is a precision measuring instrument used for manual readings of displacement sensors including multipoint extensometers and crack gauges.

It measures the distance between two reference planes to indicate movement.

It comprises a sliding probe, a Vernier scale, a reference surface and an LCD display in metric and imperial units.
